Who are you going to miss the most this holiday season? 

My 26 year old son, Billy, who lives in Dublin, Ireland. He has been living there for the past 5 years. He has taken college courses towards a degree in Addiction Therapy because he is interested in working professionally with drug & alcohol addicts. He has worked as an intake counselor at one of the main Salvation Army hostels in Dublin for the past 3 years. Anyway, he came home for Christmas last year but I have not seen him since January. So yeah, he is the person I have missed the most this holiday season although we do talk on the phone several times a week as international phone calls are so inexpensive.

What are you proud for accomplishing in 2008? Anything you wanted to accomplish that didn't quite happen?

well, for one thing, i completed writing a 50,000 word novel that i am actually going to self publish early in 2009.

the other thing that i feel was a huge accomplishment was that i photographed over 40 different models for various projects i worked on this year. i had a photograph published in Guitar Player Magazine and i also interviewed the entire Adrian Belew Power Trio before their show at Slim's in February. The one low point of the year was health related; bipolar imbalances and some trouble with my blood pressure that pretty much forced me out of doing live concert reviews anymore. Who knows what will appear on this new year's horizons for me to do. I'm pretty jazzed already!

How are your Saturday nights different now than they were five years ago?

they aren't. i still spend them alone.
